Marketing Update | 20th April

We just wanted to send you a positive message regarding how we are finding the marketing of homes at the moment and if you were considering marketing this spring / summer but have been deterred, we just wanted to encourage you to rethink!

Whilst clearly actual viewings aren’t possible at this time, online viewing activity is way up and the choice / competition is way down! Our aim for our Homeowners at this time is to give their property as much exposure as possible so that as and when restrictions are lifted, it’s their property buyers are ringing to view!

Given that we can’t visit your home in person currently, for instructions to market your property in April we are offering a reduced commission fee of 0.5% of sale price plus VAT.

This recognises that we will need our Vendors to:

Take a handful of photographs – ideally inside and out

Ideally sketch a floor plan which we can then professionally reproduce

Ideally carry out a virtual tour

When restrictions are lifted, we can return and retake photos – if need be of course! With gardens generally coming in to their own at this time, even just some garden shots would be worth taking and keeping.

If you would like a revaluation of your property we are more than happy to do that either via FaceTime, Zoom or similar (although perhaps not House Party!). Equally if you would just like to discuss the market over the phone, please just call or message us.

And finally, social media is an increasingly large part of what we do to get interest in our properties, especially at this time.
