Moores November Market Update

Following the explosion of interest in our area from buyers wishing to escape urban living, our marketing to buyers in the South has been really well received with people wanting to move to the country and live in exactly the kind of market towns and villages we operate in. Our areas enable them to be within striking distance of main road links and trainlines, important for travel to the occasional meeting as opposed to regularly.

Like many agents in the East Midlands, we have had a very great run of sales during the summer months and during this second lockdown, buyers from the South are expressing disappointment in just how few properties are now available. Recent statistics from rightmove.co.uk confirm that there are more properties marked as sold on their site than available – for the first time ever!

We are currently seeing demand outstrip supply meaning that buyers are willing to pay a premium – encouraged to do so by the stamp duty holiday (currently due to finish by 31.03.21).

If you would like your house discreetly matching to the buyers that we have registered currently (which is being topped up still every day!), we are offering a discount on our fee down to 0.8% of sale price plus VAT. To reap the rewards of the Stamp Duty Holiday, realistically a purchase needs to be secured this side of Christmas so now would be the time to meet with us!

If you would like to discuss this opportunity, then please contact us. As an industry we are fortunate enough to be able to continue working during this second lockdown following the guidelines set down back in May. With many buyers finding extra time on their hands, the number of enquiries we are receiving in our area shows no signs of slowing!
