Our Story: Rooted in Community, Driven by Vision
At Moores Estate Agents, our journey has always been about more than just selling homes — it’s about rethinking what estate agency can be. From a spark of inspiration in 1980s America to building one of the East Midlands’ most trusted, family-led agencies, our story is defined by passion, innovation, and a deep love for the communities we serve.
Explore our timeline to discover how Vernon Moore’s early experiences—from livestock markets to leading national firms—shaped a new kind of estate agency: personal, principled, and proudly local. From founding Newtonderry & Moore to launching Moores Estate Agents with his wife Jenny, and now welcoming the next generation with their son Will, the journey continues.
We’ve grown alongside the region we champion — from Rutland’s rolling countryside to Lincolnshire’s hidden gems — always with the same mission: to connect people with not just a property, but a lifestyle.
